Reporting a wrong figure
Wrong data is the most useful thing you can report, and the easiest to act on. Pages are generated from a database, so a wrong figure is usually wrong for a whole class of pages rather than just the one you are looking at — which means one report can fix thousands of pages.
The report that gets fixed fastest contains the URL, the figure that is wrong, and what it should be. A source for the correct value helps but is not required.
Other reasons to write
Anything below is worth an email:
- A page that fails to load, renders empty, or shows an error
- A rivalry that should be covered and is not
- A copyright or takedown concern — see the terms of use
- A question about how a figure is calculated — the method is on the data sources page
What to expect
This is a single-maintainer project, so a reply may take several days. Reports of wrong data are prioritised over everything else.
The archive is not affiliated with any club, league or governing body, so questions about a club’s own records are better directed to the club.
